Neuro4D 2026 in Mainz brought together experts from academia, clinical research, and industry for two days of scientific exchange focused on neurodegenerative disease research, translational medicine, and next-generation biomarker science. For Noselab, the conference was above all a valuable opportunity to connect with the broader neuroscience community and engage in meaningful discussions around emerging challenges and future directions in CNS research.

Representing Noselab at the conference were Dr. Mareike Albert and Dr. Sabine Mertzig, who contributed to the program with the presentation “Beyond CSF and Blood: Nasal Fluid as a Window into Brain Biology.” Their talk introduced Noselab’s work on the Brain–Nose Interface and explored the potential of nasal fluid as a minimally invasive source of CNS-related molecular information. More importantly, it sparked valuable conversations with researchers, clinicians, and industry experts. The strong engagement from attendees reinforced the growing interest in new approaches for accessing CNS-related molecular signals and translating scientific discoveries into meaningful clinical applications.

Neuro4D 2026 once again demonstrated the importance of scientific dialogue and community engagement in driving innovation. We are grateful to the organizers and all participants for two inspiring days in Mainz and look forward to continuing the conversations and collaborations initiated during the conference.

Noselab has developed a proprietary platform making biomarker signatures of central nervous system (CNS) diseases accessible through a previously untapped biological gateway: the brain–nose interface (BNI) and nasal fluid.

By enabling direct, minimally invasive access to CNS-related molecular signals, Noselab is pioneering a paradigm shift in understanding, diagnosing, monitoring and treatment of brain diseases.

Our integrated clinical network, combined with advanced analytics and data-driven approaches, allows for precise patient stratification, longitudinal biomarker tracking, and correlation of molecular signatures with real-world clinical outcomes.

Noselab is building the foundation for an entirely new category in CNS disease management. We are partnering with biopharma, clinicians, and research institutions to accelerate drug development, improve diagnostic results, and unlock more personalized treatment strategies – for the benefit of patients, society, and shareholders alike.
